Just how big of a rifle do I need?

Nebraska deer hunts are often taken place throughout a pasture, with wide open spaces. In some cases, it is possible to crack off long shots with a good chance of success. Some people believe in the old saying, bigger is better. In my opinion I think what is more important than how many grains you can put down range, is where you can make them grains land down range. It is much more important to be a decent shot than it is to have a 175 grain bullet zipping down range, just to miss or wound your game.
