  2. Safe, effective, and efficient internet searching.
  3. File management and maintenance.
  4. Document formatting, spreadsheet computing, database management, and presentation production.
Daily Requirements:
  1. Positive and hardworking attitude.
  2. 3 ring folder
  3. Writing utensils (pens, pencils)

General Class Schedule

Quarter 1 2008
            Introduction to class
            Learn document formatting using Word.
            Complete units 1-7 from Sally Cashman Book. (Word)

Quarter 2 2008
            Complete any work remaining in Word.
            Introduce Microsoft Access.
            Create, query, sort, and filter databases.
            Complete Units 1-4 from Sally Cashman Book (Access)

Quarter 3 2009
            Begin using Microsoft Excel.
            Design spreadsheets with formulas, if statements, and conditions.
            Complete Units 1-6 from Sally Cashman Book (Excel)

Quarter 4 2009
            Complete any work from Excel Unit.
            Begin creating presentations using PowerPoint.
            Produce interactive PowerPoint presentations.
            Insert, Edit, and place images on slides.
            Complete Units 1-4 from Sally Cashman Book (PowerPoint)
