Description:
            Word Processing introduces and/or improves the touch method of entering alphabetic information, numeric information, and symbols by teaching correct key stroking technique. Composing and formatting skills are developed and refined. Proofreading, composing, editing, and file management will also be covered.

Objectives:
Students will learn the following:

  1. Basic Operation of a computer and its components.
  2. Touch keyboarding skill.
  3. Basic word processing and formatting tools.
  4. Correct letter, memo, and report formatting.
Daily Requirements
  1. Positive and hardworking attitude.
  2. 3 ring folder
  3. Writing utensils (pens, pencils)

Assessment
    • Grades will be given for student performance.
    • Keyboarding technique tests will be graded on improvement.
    • Participation and effort will have bearing on grades.
